Basic Principle of Homeopathy

In brief, Homeopathy is a system of medicine that is based on the Law of Similars. This means that something which can disturb human health can also be used to treat the same kind of disturbance. The truth of this law has been verified experimentally as well as clinically for over 200 years.

Homeopathy uses small doses of specially prepared substances (botanical, zoological, and chemical) to make homeopathic remedies.

The aim of Homeopathy is a gentle, rapid and permanent cure by stimulating the body's own healing powers.

Homeopathy is a system of health care which concentrates on care of the whole person by methods that are specific, gentle and sympathetic to the body's needs. The term "whole body" means the physical, mental and emotional aspect rather than only one aspect of a patient.

The word "homeopathy" is derived from two Greek words: homoios (like) and pathos (suffering).

There are Three Levels of Homeopathic Therapy

  • First Aid (for sports injuries, accidents, etc.)
  • Acute Homeopathy (for acute ailments)
  • Constitutional Homeopathy (for chronic illnesses and dis-eases).
